The Bellavista, meaning beautiful view in italian, is perhaps the jewel in the crown of Coolmore Manor House. Situated above and to the rear of the property, the Bellavista provides a breathtaking almost 360° view over Donegal Bay and the whole area.
A small path leads up to the point, where you will find a stone table and some large stones to sit on. It is the perfect place to enjoy a sunset, a sundowner or a nice Aperitif or simply to relax. Each guest should take a moment to savour this truly spectactular experience, unique to Coolmore Manor House.
From the House you have views of Donegal Bay, Slieve League and the Blue Stack Mountains. Less than an hour's drive from Coolmore Manor House you will find yet more breathtaking views; the cliffs of Slieve League in Donegal are the highest sea cliffs in Europe.
A nearly sheer drop of roughly 609m separates the Atlantic Ocean from the highest point of the cliffs. They are three times higher than the - more famous - Cliffs of Moher!
A 5 minutes walk from Coolmore Manor House brings you to Rossnowlagh Beach and a bit further north or south are more beautiful sandy beaches.
We are surrounded by a quiet, extremely green and hilly landscape; an excellent starting point for some excursions.
